This man chose to be photographed while wearing a Masonic costume. In addition to his elaborate robes and crown, he wears a Past Master's jewel around his neck, signifying that he once served as the leader of a local lodge. He may have worn this costume as part of a Royal Arch or Scottish Rite degree ritual.
