Sepia-toned fraternal carte-de-visite photograph. Full length portrait of man with mustache standing with his hands together at his waist. The man is wearing a black frock coat and pants, and Independent Order of Odd Fellows Encampment chapeau-de-bras, gauntlets, and sash or baldric. His gauntlets are gray, with crossed crooks and four buttons on each. His sash is likewise gray, with a white border and crossed crooks. His chapeau-de-bras is black, with a black feather on top, and an unidentifiable rectangular emblem on the side. The man is posing with two swords, one in front of his legs, and another to his left. The edge of the CDV is gilt. In gold lettering on the back is "Geo. B. Burns, / Southington, / Conn."
