Independent Order of Odd Fellows apron; shield shape body and flap; red velvet with silver bullion fringe; flap: hand-painted all-seeing eye with silver bullion rays; apron: silver bullion embroidered in the form of floral vines enclosing an unsheathed sword, and the inscription "No. 155."
This apron would have been worn by a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows who had taken the 5th, also called Scarlet, degree in an Odd Fellows lodge. What lodge the wearer of this apron belonged to is not known, but its number was 155, as embroidered on the apron.
