Sepia-toned stereocard photograph mounted on a light green card, showing a Native American [Indian] woman and man in traditional ethnic dress. Both people are seated; the woman is sitting to the right of the man (on the left side of the image). The woman is wearing a light-colored cloak, earrings, and a necklace. The man is wearing breeches, two beaded necklaces, and a fringed tunic. His hands are crossed, and in his right hand, he is holding a stick or totem with leather strips or ribbons hanging from the end. Both people are sitting on top of a animal skin (probably bearskin) rug. Printed in black on the front of the card is "Specialties. / Savage & Ottinger, Salt Lake City. / Two Snake Indians. [228]."
