The man has a hat, dark coat, and dark pants, and appears to be leaning on a rock or a tree stump. Directly above him, there is a rock jutting out from the face of the mountain. Below the man, in the foreground, there are two jagged rock outcrops. Above the rightmost of these two rocks, there is a dead double tree trunk. Another hill looms in the background.
