The queen is wearing a crown, several necklaces, and an ornate dress and cloak. To her right, there is a man genuflecting toward her. She is knighting him with a sword, which she is holding in her left hand. The man being knighted is wearing a cape, a puffy, collared shirt or cloak, and leggings or stockings. There is another man standing on the queen's left side; he is wearing a knight's uniform with leggings or stockings, and shoes or boots. He is wearing two tassels around his neck. Behind the three people, there is a painting with a castle scene. Printed in black on the front of the card is "Union View Co., Publishers, / Rochester, N.Y. / English Group Series." The back of the card is pinkish-purple and blank; the back edges are faded.
