Original drawing from a fraternal supply company. Full-length image of a man wearing a High Priest costume. Subject wears a blue, white, red and gold robe with a white crown and has a white beard. He wears a white sash with gold fringe and a high priest's breastplate (square with twelve jewels arranged in rows). Inscription at lower right reads, "High Priest."

The presiding officer of a Royal Arch Chapter, part of the York Rite of Freemasonry, bears the title of High Priest. In ritual and ceremonies, the High Priest wears specific regalia, including distinctive headgear, a robe, and a breastplate bearing multi-color jewels arranged in rows. This watercolor painting displays the elaborate and colorful High Priest regalia sold by the Cincinnati Regalia Company around 1900.
