Black-and-white stereocard photograph mounted on a light green card, showing two Native Americans [Indians] in traditional dress seated on chairs facing back to back. The two Native Americans are posing indoors, in a room with a patterned carpet. The woman on the left has long, straight hair, and is wearing a white blouse, a skirt, and moccasins. The man on the right has braided hair and wears a vest over a shirt, along with breeches and moccasins. Behind the man on the right, there is a cane with white and dark horizontal stripes. Printed in black on the front of the card is "Carter's Celebrated Indian Stereoscopics. / Carter's Celebrated Indian Stereoscopics. / Indian Courtship - Pahutes," with the last line on a piece of white paper glued to the bottom front edge of the card. Printed in black on the back of the card is "Carter's View Emporium, / East Temple St., / Salt Lake City. / Order by Mail promptly attended to." Handwritten in pencil along the top edge of the back of the card is "FLS."
