Masonic York Rite and Scottish Rite presentation pitcher; creamware with Masonic symbols on sides in beige and brown, including Past Master, Mark jewels, double-headed eagle; on jewel: "John Haigh / Somerville, Mass."; other motifs include portrait of John Haigh; inscribed on bottom: "This punch jug and bowl / are unique being the first made / by Josiah Wedgwood and Sons / potters on the understanding that no similar Jug and Bowl will ever be made by them. / Eturia Staffordshire/ August 1887."
