Past Master Jewel. OBVERSE: Rose gold square, engraved with floral motif along its face and edged with rounded, raised gold border also bearing engraved floral design. At top (corner) of square, all-seeing eye in yellow gold is affixed, and features a single diamond inset at its center. Suspended from two eyelet clasps inside corner of square is rectangular frame of floral-engraved rose gold with yellow gold Proposition 47 of Euclid set into its bottom: within it are an engraved square and compasses with a "G", an all-seeing eye, a crossed mallet and ruler, and another symbol. At top of jewel is affixed a round eye for hanging. REVERSE: Engraved text, "PRESENTED BY / the Members of / VICTORIA COLUMBIA LODGE / A.F. & A.M. B.C.R. (No 1) to W. Bro. D. Cartmel. / On his retiring / from the Chair / January 1887." Surrounding and between text are engraved decorative motifs. for Victoria Columbia Lodge No. 1--partial, missing hanging bar/ribbon to Bro. D. Cartwell...January 1887
