Foresters of America Court Duchess No. 293 Ribbon Badge. Gold-colored stamped metal pin bar at top of badge has overall rectangular shape with decoartive outcroppings at top and bottom; inside it, a white plastic-coated insert has image of two clasped hands inside it, with blue sleeves and peach-colored skin, and the text, "WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO., NEWARK, N.J." in an arc below it. Suspended from pin bar is a double silk ribbon, the front one of which is red, white, and blue striped. It has "COURT / DUCHESS / [decorative line] NO. 293, F. OF A. / POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y." printed on it in silver ink and a decorative silver line of points just above gold bullion fringe trim at bottom of ribbon. On reverse, spring pin bar at top, and black ribbon with "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK NJ" stamped on it in silver ink. Below this, "In Memoriam / [decorative flourish] / [emblem of Ancient Order of Foresters of America, with elk head at center, "LIBERTY UNITY BENEVOLENCE & CONCORD." around, crossed flags behind, and spread-winged eagle at top; banner at bottom reads "ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS OF AMERICA"] / COURT / DUCHESS / NO. 293, F. OF A. / POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y." Below this, just above fringe, a decorative silver line of points.
