Shepherds of Bethlehem Badge. Pin bar at top has decorative, cast gold-colored metal border which holds top of blue silk ribbon that is suspended from it; area display inside border bears diagonal silver stripes. On ribbon, stamped silver text, "SHEPHERDS / OF [with decorative swirls above and below] / BETHLEHEM"; there is a decorative flourish below, and a thick decorative line at bottom with repeating peaks along its top edge and diagonal stripes along its bottom. Suspended from folded bottom of ribbon via a gold-colored metal o-ring is a miniature lamb sculpture; lamb is off-white overall, and its body is wrapped in lambskin; it has a tan twine collar around its neck and black hooves. On reverse, gold-colored metal spring hinge pin bar at top, and off-white, square paper manufacturer's label applied at bottom of ribbon: printed on it in black ink, "SAMUEL E. WIER / Flags, Banners and / Ribbon Badges, / 920 FOURTH ST / WILMINGTON, DEL."; below this, within ovoid union emblem, "TYPOGRAPHICAL / UNION [image of printing machinery within a circle] LABEL / WILMINGTON".
