Improved Order of Red Men St. Regis Tribe No. 188 Ribbon Badge. Silk ribbon has red silk triangle sewn at top and is black with white border printed (possibly) down either side. Printed on it in silver ink, an eagle emblem (spread wings, holding arrows and leafy branches in its talons), with the text below: "ST. REGIS / TRIBE, NO. 188 / IMP'D O. R. M. / [decorative flourish] / UTICA, N.Y." Below this, a silver decorative pointed line along edge, with gold bullion fringe trimming it. On reverse, at top, tag sewn on that reads "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWA[loss]". Flap of black canvas (possibly cotton) sewn along bottom trim.
