Cabinet card full-length photograph of unidentified man. Sylvan backdrop with a pedestal to one side; there is a vase on top of the pedestal. Subject wears a military uniform with jacket and trousers. He wears a kepi hat on his head; it has crossed swords on the front. He wears a Masonic Knights Templar sword belt and holds his sword in one hand. Printed in brown at the bottom is "S. Smith / 1115 Franklin Ave. / St. Louis, Mo." Printed in brown on the back is "From / Smith / 1891 / All work finished by the French Enamel & Aristo / 1115 Franklin Ave. / St. Louis, Mo." There is handwriting in black ink on the back, but is difficult to make out.
