Masonic Order of Eastern Star Booth at Columbian Exposition. Black and white photograph of a corner display of Order of the Eastern Star objects in a room-like setting with closed windows on both sides. At top center, a large pentagonal sign with the Order of the Eastern Star emblem on it (a five-point star with a sword and veil, sheaf of barley, a crown and sceptre, a broken column, and a chalice inside the arms; a pentagon containing an altar with an open bible at center; and stars all around the outer edge). Small banners hang from the walls all around. On PR wall, a large five-point star hangs at the top; there is a large framed painting below it. Set around carpeted floor of display are chairs, a desk, a table with an open book on it, and a bookcase with books around all sides and a vase of flowers atop it, among other things. There are railings around the sides of the floor platform which have curtains on them that are pushed mostly open. At bottom PR corner, a light grey panel with scrolled edges has the black text, "EASTERN STAR CORNER / Worlds / Columbian / Exposition / Chicago. / Womans Building-". At bottom PL corner, in black, "Copyrighted - Mrs. Lorraine J. Pitkin / OCT. 1893.". White border around edge of image.
