Lantern slide in black and white. Large group of men, women and children gathered inside a house or barn. The men are organized with weapons and about to move out of the structure. Through the door, a village can be seen with Native American Indians attacking. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "Indians Attacking Settlers at Hadley, Mass., 1675." A label printed in black applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, 17 Bromfield St., Boston." Handwritten in black ink on this label is "Period 1607-1692."
