Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows a group of European/American men meeting with a group of Native Americans. Two of the Euro-Americans kneel in front of the Indians and are showing them items from a chest. There are several houses in the background under construction. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "United States History / Penn's Treaty with the Indians, 1682." A label printed in black applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, 17 Bromfield St., Boston." Handwritten in black ink on this label is "Period 1607-1692."
