Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows a woman in a white dress kneeling before a man in a white robe. The man rests one hand on a baptismal font. At right, three men stand around a chair. At left, a group of men, women and Native Americans look on. At the back of the image are pews with men and women watching. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "Baptism of Pocahontas." A label printed in black applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, 11 Bromfield St., Boston." Handwritten in black ink on this label is "Period 1607-1692."
