Lantern slide in color. Image shows Abraham Lincoln standing by the hospital bed of a wounded soldier. Crutches rest against the wall. Lincoln holds a top hat in one hand and extends his other hand toward the patient. Several men and women stand around the bed with Lincoln. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "7 - Lincoln visiting soldiers in Hospital." A label printed in red applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, Boston."
