Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows a scene from the story of Mr. Spurt and His Auto. The slide shows a man and a woman in an automobile following behind a horse-drawn covered wagon. The men wave at women behind (the women are seen only by their shadows along the bottom of the image). A rainbow extends across the sky. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "Mr. Spurt and His Auto 8 - He hires farmer to tow him home." A label printed in red at the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, Boston."
