Lantern slide in color. Image shows a scene from the poem "The Spectre Pig" by Oliver Wendell Holmes. The image shows a man at center holding a knife and pointing to a pig hung upside down with a slit throat. Two young children are pictured crying next to the man. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "3. It was the butcher's youngest son, His voice was broke with sighs." "Economic Series" is printed in silver lettering on black frame on other side of slide.
