Lantern slide in color. Image shows a scene from the poem "The Spectre Pig" by Oliver Wendell Holmes. In the image, a man stands with a knife next to a pig that is being tied up by two men. The pig's throat is cut and its mouth open. A smoke stack is pictured in the background. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "1. It was the stalwart butcher man, That knit his swarthy brow." "Economic Series" is printed in silver lettering on black frame on other side of slide.
