Lantern slide in color showing "How Mr. and Mrs. O'Rourke Celebrated the Day at Home." Mr. and Mrs. O'Rourke stand and kneel in their house behind a small kitchen table. Multiple fire hoses and a watering can are spraying water into the home. Multiple sticks of fireworks are scattered across the floor drenched in water. A red and white label with the words "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons and Supplies, Boston" is applied to one end of the slide and written in black ink in cursive is "Mr & Mrs. O'Rourke (1)." "Albert D. Handy / 21 Broomfield St., Boston" is printed in gold lettering on black frame on other side of slide.
