The Knights Templar met in groups called Commanderies and held local, state, and national gatherings called Conclaves. At these events the Commandery members gathered for parades, drill exhibitions and competitions, and social events. This souvenir pin tray commemorated the 1898 Triennial Conclave, held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Over ten thousand Masons from across the country attended the event.
