Patriotic Order of Americans National Camp Session Badge. Pin bar at top has decorative, cast gold-colored metal border with white plastic-coated paper (likely) insert which bears the black printed text, "P. O. of A." on it. Suspended from bar is a red, white, and blue striped silk ribbon bearing the stamped text, "NATIONAL CAMP / SESSION / [decorative line] / Phillipsburg, N.J. / OCT. 22-23, 1901". Hanging from end of ribbon is a shield-shaped badge with a cast, decorative gold-colored metal frame and an off-white, plastic-coated paper (likely) insert at center that has a black and white image of the Statue of Liberty on it with the text, "God, Our Country & Our Free Schools." arched overhead. On reverse of pin bar, straight pin; on reverse of badge, image of spread-winged eagle atop two crossed American flags, with light blue stripe behind, and pink rays emanating above eagle.
