Patriotic Order of Americans 8th Annual Convention Badge. Pin bar at top has decorative, cast gold-colored metal border with white plastic-coated paper (likely) insert which bears the black printed text, "Representative" on it. Suspended from bar is an off-white silk ribbon bearing a stamped design in gold ink of two crossed American flags with a star in between and an eagle with spread wings below; sewn onto flag poles are two re red, white, and blue fabric flags. Hanging from end of ribbon is a badge with a cast, decorative gold-colored metal frame and an off-white, plastic-coated paper (likely) disk at center with a black and white image of Martha Washington in a bonnet and shawl on it; disk has a ring of silver metal around edge. On reverse of pin bar, straight pin; on ribbon, off-white, round manufacturer's label with black text on it is adhered; on badge, black printed text, "8TH ANNUAL / CONVENTION / P.O. of A. / Brooklyn, N. Y. / Oct. 25=26, 1904 / L. HARRY FISHER NOV. CO. / BROOKLYN, N. Y.".
