Masonic Lapel Pin with Circular Backing. OBVERSE: Dark gold-colored metal (likely brass) lapel pin features square and compasses design set into a circle with capital letter "G" in center; negative space between square and compasses and circle empty. Square features carved measuring marks; hinge of compasses has small circular depression in center and there are stripes carved into top of one arm and cross-hatches in the other. REVERSE: Plain, flat gold-colored metal circle has small circular depression in center, with another circle of metal inside where other side screws on to it. Rod attaching back to front has small prong extending from it (possibly to hold pin upright on wearer). Small maker's mark along one side of backing. Minor scratches in circular pattern around center.
