Knights of the Golden Eagle was a faternal benefit society founded in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1872. KGE based its ritual and ceremonies on the pagenatry of the medieval Crusaders. They had three degrees. The organization's focus was to provide financial relief for its members while finding employment.
