Masonic Royal Arch Lodge of Stirling Records Box EXTERIOR: Brown, varnished wood rectangular box has black painted text on front face (at center of bottom portion of box), "THE LODGE OF STIRLING." [first letters of all words except "of" are larger; i's have dots above them]. Lid is 2" deep and has gold-colored metal (likely brass) hardware: on the front, a two-part fastener has an upper portion with short cylinders extending from it that fit into two holes on the bottom portion, which has a round keyhole underneath; and on the back, two plain rectangular hinges. Bottom of plain, unvarnished wood. INTERIOR: Plain, unvarnished wood.
