Ten Masonic Wall Tiles; a: main tile is rectangular blue glazed ceramic tile decorated with an all-seeing eye above Masonic square and compasses enclosing the letter "G", all above a trowel, all in yellow glaze; h-j: main Masonic tile is bordered by maroon squares at three corners; b-g: six off-white glazed tiles along the sides, top and bottom; reverse of the tiles are impressed "Grueby Tile/ Boston."


Likely made as a special order, these Masonic-themed tiles were produced by Grueby Pottery Co. of Boston, an active manufacturer of architectural tile in the early 1900s.
