Color stereocard photograph with image of two soldiers standing atop a rotating turret that has been hit with a large-caliber German shell. The armored cupola, containing two guns was split and the top blown off. The original photograph was color tinted and is printed directly onto the card. The background is white. Title is printed in black on the bottom right hand side of the card and reads "Havoc Caused by German Shell." On the lower right hand side of image is original title printed in white "Havoc Wrought by 43 cm. German Shell at Maubeuge. 9339." The back is blank.
