Masonic Scottish Rite Consistory regalia for Hermes (19th degree) and Phrenes (24th degree). Depicts full-length male figure wearing a short white skirt and a leopard skin draped over one shoulder. The skin still has the head and front paws attached; they hang down the front. At his waist is a striped maroon and gold belt with a gold tassel or jewel hanging down on one side. Gold trim with red and green designs runs down the center front of the skirt. He wears red sandals. He wears a white hood on his head with a scarab at center front. He stands with one arm bent behind his back and the other hand to the side, resting on an undrawn surface. At left is a detail of the tassel or jewel hanging from his belt. His mouth is open. Attached to the back is a typewritten piece of paper headed "C. 6. / XIX-6. Hermes. / XXIV-12. Phrenes." This is followed by a description of the various costume elements and notes on their sources.
