He wears brown stockings and black buckled shoes. He has long white hair. He stands in profile facing a stone wall. His head is bowed and one arm is bent behind his back. His other arm is straight out in front with palm on the wall. Attached to the back is a typewritten piece of paper headed "C. 30. / XX-16. General Wallraven." This is followed by a description of the various costume elements and a note on their sources.
