Masonic York Rite Royal Arch Circle Chapter Chapter Penny. OBVERSE: Circular, likely copper coin with raised design: delta in center, inside of which is the text, "NO. / 246"; underneath delta is text, "· R · A · M ·"; a wreath of oak leaves surrounds. Outside of this is text arrayed in a ring: "CIRCLE CHAPTER" above and "OAK PARK, ILL." below. Small perpendicular lines along raised rim of coin. REVERSE: Raised words at top, "ONE", and "PENNY", flank raised central design of York Rite Mark Master emblem (keystone shape with circle in center containing the letters "H T W S S T K S") which has a chisel to its PR and a mallet to its PL. Underneath design is raised text, "CONSTITUTED / NOVEMBER 1 / 1916". Small perpendicular lines along raised rim of coin. Some wear to metal on both sides, especially along raised surfaces.
