Masonic Knights Templar Apron belonging to Elmer Petterson Triangular, black velvet (likely silk) apron has triangular flap and black silk cord ties with tassels at their ends.. Obverse: on flap, silver-colored cast metal crossed swords with relief decoration on them; on body, silver-colored cast metal skull and crossbones. Silver metallic tape trim. Under flap, eight silver-colored metal rings affixed. Reverse: square black silk manufacturer's label sewn on with white thread; it reads "AMES SWORD CO. / MILITARY AND / SOCIETY GOODS / CHICOPEE, MASS." in white embroidery. Below this, cast brass frame has decorative shape and white slip of paper inside with black typed text, "B. E. PETTERSON"; two silver-colored metal hooks at top for attaching to belt.
