Detroit Ladies' Aid Society Ex-President Ribbon. Gold-colored stamped metal pin bar at top of badge has overall rectangular shape with decorative outcroppings at top and bottom; inside it, a white plastic-coated insert reads "D.L.A.S." in black text. Suspended from pin bar are two gold chains which hold a rectangular white plastic bar which reads "EX-PRESIDENT" in black with a black border. Suspended from this via two gold-colored metal chains (one is not attached because the medallion below is broken) is a circular cast gold-colored metal medallion with the shape of an eagle with spread wings at the top; central applied disk is of white plastic (possibly) with a green four-leaf clover on it with the letters "D L A S" in gold, one on each leaf. Cast medallion border in decorative leaf-like design. Behind this, also suspended from top pin bar, is double silk ribbon, the front one of which is red, white, and blue striped and has "DETROIT LADIES / AID SOCIETY / [decorative line] / ORGANIZED JUNE 12, 1918" stamped in silver ink. At bottom of ribbon, stamped silver ink zig-zag border and silver-colored bullion fringe. On reverse, back ribbon is black with silver text stamped on it, "[image of two clasped hands] / DETROIT LADIES / AID SOCIETY / [decorative line] / ORGANIZED JUNE 12, 1918". At bottom of ribbon, stamped silver ink zig zag border.
