Although it is not known if W. H. Mackenzie made or received this personalized clock as a gift, its adornment speaks to his association with Freemasonry and Odd Fellowship. Demonstrating his creativity, the maker of this clock incorporated a round metal automobile clock into this decorative object. He used an evaporated milk crate as the foundation for the base for the carved wood ornaments he attached to it.
