Panorama photograph of a group of Knights of Pythias (of North and South American, Europe, Asia, and Africa) taken at Zanesville, Ohio, July 25-30, 1920, at their state encampment;This fraternal group is most likely from Columbus, Ohio since their bands are from Columbus; image includes both black men and women and some young boys in regalia and uniforms ; includes the U.R.K.P. (Uniform Rank Knights of Pythias), No. 31, 2nd Regiment band of Colunbus, Ohio and as well the C.D.C. Band Co. No.5, from Columbus, Ohio; gentlemen on the front row are holding swords as well as their hats; this fraternal organization had the same name as the Knights of Pythias organization but they had no affiliation and did not recognize one another because this group had black members the other white members
