Masonic DeMolay Revere Fez. EXTERIOR: Fez, composed of purple felt, features central tassel of yellow silk. DeMolay emblem--a patch embroidered with yellow, tan, light blue, and orange silk thread and trimmed with gold bullion--applied on front features shield with (clockwise from top left) a "D", a star, an "M", and a crescent in the center arranged between the points of a cross Moline; crossed swords behind; and a knight's head above. Above emblem, "REVERE" is applied in gold bullion. Four sets of air vents around tassel at top, each arranged in a pattern of three concentric circles. Between tassel and fez, 1-1/4" long column of purple felt. INTERIOR: Off-white, large rectangular cotton label sewn to felt with off-white thread; in center of label, maker logo is stamped in black ink: two concentric circles with "HARDING" in a rectangle positioned diagonally across middle; between circles at top, "COSTUMES"; below circles at bottom, "REGALIA"; within inner circle at top, a bundle of sticks with a fan overlaid and a pawn to its right; within inner circle at bottom, a goat head with horns, crossed swords behind. Underneath circle logo, "30 FRANKLIN ST. / BOSTON.". Silver-colored metal pin at top to secure tassel.
