Striped Wool Blanket with Masonic Shrine Symbol. OBVERSE: Wool blanket features background pattern of repeating stripes in various shades including orange, red, burgundy, brown, dark brown, tan, yellow, and occasionally off-white. Wide blue stripes with zigzag borders run perpendicular to background stripes above and below central design of blue Shrine emblem (scepter with tiger claws, pharoah head, and five-point star suspended below); on either side of emblem, narrower blue zigzag stripes frame background stripes in shorter segments. Red wool trim is 3/4" wide and sewn on with black thread. REVERSE: Same outlines to geometric pattern featured on front, except there is solid blue is where colorful stripes were, and vice versa. Red wool trim is 3/4" wide and sewn on with black thread. Rectangular blue Pendleton label, likely synthetic fabric, is sewn onto upper PL corner with black thread and features yellow embroidered border and text, "WARRANTED TO BE A / [horizontal line] / "PENDLETON" [slanted lines above and below, stylized lettering] / [horizontal line] / COPYRIGHT 1921 BY / PENDLETON WOOLEN MILLS / PENDLETON, OREGON.".
