Octagon-shaped off-white box (b) with removable lid (a). a: On upper PR corner of outer face, the seal for the St. Matthew's Lodge is printed in blue. It has a square and compasses with a "G" in the center and a banner at top reading "1822 1922." Around the symbol is text reading, "St. Matthews Lodge A.F. & A.M. Andover, Mass." Along lower portion of cover face, there is blue text reading, "St. Matthew's Lodge / 100th Anniversary / 1922." Inside the lid is a mirror. Two of the sides have cut-outs to help remove the lid. b: The bottom portion of the box has a compartment for powder and a piece that revolves with a hole for inserting the powder and a section with many small holes for applying the powder. c: Removable powder puff that sits inside the box. The powder applicator is white with a circle of yellow celluloid attached to the top as a handle. It is attached with cream ribbon.
