Russell Lodge in Arlington, Massachusetts, received this apron—one of a set of fourteen for its officers—at its constitution, or founding, in 1924. A local apron manufacturer, Rose Lipp Regalia Company, active from 1890 to1930, made the set. Lipp earned recognition for “an extended reputation for the excellent quality of her productions.” In 1930, her company advertised that it was “equipped to execute with care and accuracy.” “The Badge of a Freemason: Masonic Aprons from the Collection,” March 2016-March 2017
