In center is Grand Master Dudley Ferrell wearing tri-corn hat; other officers include past grand maasters, and masters of lodges. In foreground is table with three chalices and other tools for ceremony. On back written in ink: "Laying Corner Stone - Danvers / Presented by Bro. Harry E. Jackson."


In 1925 Dudley Ferrell (1879-1932), the Grand Master of Massachusetts, helped lay the cornerstone for a new Masonic Temple in Danvers. Three hundred area Freemasons marked the occasion with a parade.
