Masonic Lapel Pin or Stud. OBVERSE: Circular, gold-colored metal lapel pin (or stud). Raised outer edge around rough-textured background with raised square and compasses design in center. Compasses feature worn black enamel filling, primarily at hinge; black enamel infilling possibly in marks on square as well. Raised outer edge has several spots of green oxidation. REVERSE: Fixed circular backing of gold-colored metal (7/16" dia.) attaches to thin metal backing via short metal rod; grey soldering metal visible around joint. Thin metal backing is set in to reverse of lapel pin's face portion.
