Indoor group photograph of twenty-one women of the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star Grand Court wearing white dresses, regalia sashes, and Order of the Eastern Star jewels. The front row is seated, the rear two rows are standing. In the center of the third row is a man (the Worthy Patron). The sashes are embroidered with the initials DDP, DGW, OGS, and DGM. Eastern Star jurisdictions in individual states are divided into districts to supervise and coordinate the work of local chapters. This photograph shows the presiding officers of one of Georgia's twenty-eight Order of the Eastern Star districts in 1930.
