Masonic York Rite Royal and Select Masters apron with square body and triangular flap. Body is white with purple grosgrain ribbon trimming. The purple section is bordered on both sides with gold bullion tape. Gold bullion fringe is applied to sides and bottom. At center bottom of the apron is an archway (gold bullion) with a delta or triangle at top center. Between the columns is a nine-point star above the ark of the covenant. Two cherubim are painted on top of the ark. Hanging down from under the flap are two purple ribbon streamers that end in gold bullion tassels. The flap is also white with purple grosgrain trim and gold bullion tape borders. At center is a purple triangle with gold bullion edge (not complete). At center is a gold bullion trowel. Printed in blue under the flap is "Presented to / Ill. Master Clarence N. Marsden / By / Winthrop Council, R. & S.M. / September 16, 1930." The flap is lined with white silk; the body is lined with purple silk. The top edge of the apron is bound with purple grosgrain ribbon. Purple ribbon ties extend from each of the top corners. Both end with gold-tone clasp hardware.
