Masonic DeMolay Badge with Two "MERIT" Bars. Cast gold-colored metal ovoid pin has geometric rays around edge; central raised design of DeMolay emblem (shield with crossed swords behind, crown at top, 10 dots around inner display of symbols including crossed bones, "D", crescent moon, star, and knight's helmet); above emblem, raised text, "PRESENTED BY"; on scrolled banners on either side of emblem, "GRAND / COUNCIL"; below emblem , "ORDER OF DEMOLAY". Suspended from pin via two o-rings are two rectangular bars infilled with white enamel which each bear the gold text, "MERIT". Each bar has four round loops emanating from it, two at top and two at bottom.
