Since 1857, members of Golden Rule Lodge No. 5 in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, have hosted an annual gathering at the summit of Owl’s Head Mountain in Vermont. The lodge, originally founded in 1803 in Derby Line, Vermont, as Lively Stone Lodge No. 22, included members from both countries. The “open-air lodge room” event was, and continues to be, a popular yearly excursion for Masons from Canada and the United States.
