Political parade flag shaped like a sunflower for Alfred M. Landon (1887-1987) and Frank Knox (1874-1944). Petals are yellow with brown details; brown center and brown edge. Yellow letters in the center read, "Landon / and / Knox." The flag is attached to a stick or dowel. A slot runs halfway down the center of the dowel from the top. The flag has been slid into the slot and then attached with two staples at the back of the dowel.

Alfred Mossman "Alf" Landon (1887-1987) and William Franklin "Frank" Knox (1874-1944) were the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential (respectively) candidates in the 1936 election against Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945). They were defeated in a landslide, winning only Maine and Vermont. Landon was Governor of Kansas from 1933 to 1937; Knox was U.S. Secretary of the Navy from 1940 to 1944. The sunflower was a unifying symbol for the campaign, which symbolized that Landon came from Kansas.
