Suspended from pin bar via one o-ring is an openwork cast metal badge in gold and silver: it has silver-colored metal, pentagon-shaped frame with carved or stamped floral designs along it inside a dotted outer edge and an empty central area; applied to it is a gold-colored metal (likely brass) Knights of Pythias emblem of a knight's helmet in profile with breastplate below, crossed axes over a shield underneath, and a falcon perched at top. On shield, "F.C.B.". REVERSE: Engraved around sides of silver frame, "PRESENTED BY JAME RAY COLE LODGE NO. 160 K. OF P."; at bottom, "C. Three small rounded, gold-colored bolts (which secure front emblem to this frame); two are at bottom and one is to PR of maker's mark.
